In the Beginning:

I suppose this is the beginning of my attempts to be a blogger. I have played with blogs before, but never publicly so anyone could read them. The idea of publicly opening myself up has kind of scared me, but considering I want to be a published author, this is a good start. A really good start.

Life has been interesting for the last month or so. It has been one intense ride that has taught me one major lesson: joy can be found in the small and simple things. Things can be rocky. Everything can be turning upside down, but I can still have joy. I can still look at the beautiful mountains that surround my valley home and thank God for what He has given me. I can look at the clear blue sky and be glad to have sunshine pouring down upon me. I can think about my life, and I can have joy.
